Buying to Let

Buy to Let Mortgages are specifically designed for individuals who want to invest in the property market by purchasing one or more properties and letting them out to tenants.  The potential appreciation in the capital value of the house remains with the owner.  Much of the  maintenance  of the property and loan repayments may be met from the revenue realised by the letting income.  Buy to let mortgages are in most ways similar to standard mortgages, however, the percentage which the lender is willing to lend is likely to be restricted to a percentage of the value of the property.
